Your Wedding, Your Way is a boutique consultancy service with an eye for detail. We grew out of a love for all things wedding, and all things organised. Laura Jayne, the founder of Your Wedding, Your Way, is friendly, organised, astute, calm and practical making her the perfect person to entrust your day to.
From a varied background, including event booking and organisation, education and hospitality, Laura Jayne has the experience and professionalism to make your dreams a reality.
We only take on a limited number of clients at any one time so our attention is well and truly yours. As our service is personal and individual, we ensure the lines of communication are constantly used and tailor make our packages to suit your needs. We will always endeavour to go that extra mile to exceed your expectations.
We know our clients are busy people (that’s usually why they need us) so we will always do our best to schedule meetings around you, and yes that does mean evenings and weekends. We are also available on Facetime and Skype if you are a little further afield.
There is a fabulous selection of planners to choose from out there and we believe choosing the right one for you is one of the most important decisions you will make. You will be trusting this person with one of the most important days of your life, speaking to them as often as you choose to, emailing them constantly and generally relying on them, so if you don’t get on, that’s an issue! At Your Wedding, Your Way, we will never give you the hard sell or make you feel pressurised into anything. Our initial consultations are totally relaxed, usually in a mutually convenient location such as a coffee shop, so we can have a chat, get to know each other and find out how we can help you.
What we believe, above everything else, is that this is your day, and we want you to enjoy it and if we can help with that, great!
At Your Wedding, Your Way we believe in promoting regulated standards in the wedding industry. We have therefore trained extensively with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and follow their code of business practice.
This means we will always:
Respond to enquiries within 48 hours
Respect client confidentiality
Disclose any suppliers we have a vested interest in
Pass discounts and/or commission onto clients
Ensure our Public Liability insurance is up to date
Never give client details to any third party not involved with the wedding
Respect copyright from fellow wedding professionals
Represent each client fairly and honestly
Use legally sound business contracts with clients
Essentially, as your wedding planner, we will save you time, stress and could even save you money.
